REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN ART HISTORY:
A student majoring in any discipline other than Art may complete a minor in Art History upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core and elective requirements. No more than one course from the major field will count toward the minor. An exception to these two policies is allowed for students majoring in Art, who may have the courses specified here overlap between the major and the minor:
- ART 262 and ART 263 may be applied toward the requirements of this minor and the Art - Art Option, Art - Business Art Option, and Art - K-12 Teaching Option. No other courses may overlap between the minor and the major.
- ART 262 or ART 263 and ART 360 may be applied toward the requirements of this minor and the Art - Graphic Design Option. No other courses may overlap between the minor and the major.
Elective requirements – choose a minimum of 3 courses from the following:
