Undergraduate and Graduate Policies

THE FLC CATALOG

The Fort Lewis College Catalog of Courses is issued every Academic Year, which begins at the start of the Fall term (e.g. the fall of 2024) and runs through the end of the following summer terms (in this example, the summer of 2025). Your Catalog Year is the Academic Year you first enrolled Fort Lewis College.

Your Catalog Year remains the same until you elect to change it. Contact your Skyhawk Station Advisor or Faculty Advisor to petition to change catalog years.

You may also declare Minors and Certificates on different catalog years. For instance, you could be on the 2023-2024 Catalog Year as a Psychology Major, and you could have a certificate in Regenerative Food Systems from the 2024-2025 catalog. This flexibility allows students to add minors and certificates from newer catalogs without changing their major requirements. Academic Handbook

The Student Handbook is packed with essential information on safety, conduct, housing, and support services. It’s like the Academic Handbook, but for all the stuff you need to know outside Academics.

Academic Integrity Policy

The Academic Integrity Policy outlines policies and procedures surrounding cheating, falsification, or plagiarism. Students must also refrain from unethical behavior that affects grades, academic placement, or academic standings. These standards apply to all courses taken on or off campus, and all modes of delivery.

Academic Policy Library

The Academic Policy Library is the full list of all rules and regulations governing everything at FLC, from students to faculty to staff.
