HIST 181 - US/SW Environmental History


This course explores the environmental history of the U.S. from pre-European contact through today. The course will look at how the land and culture(s) interacted to reorganize and redefine one another, the relationship between environmental and cultural change and how the present is linked to the past. This course is the same as SW 181; credit will be given for only one of these courses.
