HIST 303 - Ancient Greece Course surveys the origins and culture of the ancient Greeks from early Aegean civilizations to Hellenistic Period. Topics include Minoans, Mycenaeans, Homeric Age, development of polis, the contrasting city states of Athens and Sparta, ending with decline of classical Greece and arrival of Alexander the Great and the Hellenistic world.
