MATH 110 - College Algebra This course covers the topics in algebra necessary for students who plan to enroll in Math 210 Survey of Calculus or Math 121 Pre-calculus. The use of technology to aid in problem solving is an integral part of the course. Specific topics covered are simplifications of algebraic expressions, complex numbers, solutions of equations (including systems of linear equations) and inequalities, and functions, including polynomial, root, rational, exponential, and logarithmic.
Prerequisites: TRS 92 OR Computed Math Placement Score MA110
Credits: 4 Suffix: MA1 Clock Hours - (Lect-Lab): (4-0) Notes: The prerequisite for Math 121 is a B- or better in Math 110 or placement. All specified prerequisites for all other math courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better.
