NAIS 280 - Native American in Modern World

This is an introductory course in contemporary affairs in Indian Country. The historical development and significance of today’s issues will be studied. Students will learn of these issues from recent materials, many produced by Indian people, and will be encouraged to explore their own interests in Indian affairs in brief writing assignments.
