MU 323 - Advanced Jazz Improvisation

The advanced jazz improvisation course will focus on scale and chord studies and how they relate to a number of jazz standards. The class will listen and transcribe solos of famous artists to develop the language and facility, while increasing the student’s understanding of jazz and its history.
