NAIS 110 - Intro Native American and Indigenous Studies

This course surveys the concepts, methods, and contents of Native American and Indigenous Studies, using examples from the indigenous cultures of the globe, with a particular focus on the Americas. The course pays special attention to the ways in which academic disciplines contribute to our understanding of indigenous people and their particular concern.
