Basic introduction to the aspects of animal science, concentrating on products, reproduction, genetics, anatomy, basic production in cattle, sheep, swine and dairy.

Notes: Agriculture (AG) courses were required for students in the following programs: Associate of Arts in Agriculture Science, Agriculture Minor, Agroecology/Sustainable Agriculture Minor and Business Administration: Agricultural Business Option. These programs will no longer be offered with the 2011-12 catalog. Students in subsequent catalogs may continue to take these courses as they are offered as long as the student meets all of the prerequisites.
