AG 180 - Sustainable Agriculture


This course will introduce students to the theoretical and practical dimensions of sustainable agriculture. The major topics of discussion will include current issues in sustainable agriculture, sustaining soil fertility, environmentally friendly pest control, and case studies in sustainable agriculture.

Notes: Agriculture (AG) courses were required for students in the following programs:  Associate of Arts in Agriculture Science, Agriculture Minor, Agroecology/Sustainable Agriculture Minor and Business Administration: Agricultural Business Option.  These programs will no longer be offered with the 2011-12 catalog.  Students in subsequent catalogs may continue to take these courses as they are offered as long as the student meets all of the prerequisites.
