REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN PSYCHOLOGY:
No more than one course from a student’s major may count in any minor. A student majoring in any discipline other than Psychology may complete a minor in Psychology upon satisfactorily completing the following requirements:
A minor in Psychology consists of at least 19 credits, at least 8 of which must be upper division. Psyc 157 Introduction to Psychology, is required. The remaining credits may be selected from any courses offered in the department, including Science and Practice courses. No more than 4 credits of Independent Study (Psyc 299/Psyc 499) will be accepted. No more than 6 credits total from off campus coursework or Innovative Month will be accepted. Students are urged to work closely with their advisors in choosing the most appropriate array of courses for their interests and plans. TOTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PSYCHOLOGY MINOR - CREDITS: 19
