REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN ACCOUNTING:
A student majoring in any discipline other than Accounting may complete a minor in Accounting upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core and elective requirements. No more than one course from the major field will count toward the minor. An exception to this policy is allowed for students majoring in Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing, who may have the courses specified here overlap between the major and the minor:
- ACC 225 and ACC 226 may be applied to the requirements of this minor and a major in Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing. No other courses may overlap between the minor and the major.
Elective requirements:
- Any combination of upper division ACCOUNTING courses totaling a minimum of 6 credits
TOTAL REQUIRED FOR MINOR - CREDITS: 18
Note: If any of the courses required for this minor have been completed elsewhere and transferred into Fort Lewis at less than four credit hours, the student must take additional upper division accounting hours to meet the minimum of 18 credit hours needed for a minor in Accounting. |
