REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN ECONOMICS:
A student majoring in any discipline other than Economics may complete a minor in Economics upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core and elective requirements: No more than one course from the major field will count toward the minor. An exception to this policy is allowed for students majoring in Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing, who may have the courses specified here overlap between the major and the minor:
- ECON 262 and ECON 272 may be applied to the requirements of this minor and a major in Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing. No other courses may overlap between the minor and the major.
Elective requirements:
- 12 credits of upper division ECONOMICS courses
TOTAL REQUIRED FOR MINOR - CREDITS: 20
Note: 12 credits of upper division economics courses must be in addition to any courses included in a student’s major requirements. |
