REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN COMMUNICATIONS:

No more than one course from the major department will count toward any minor. A student majoring in any discipline other than English may complete a minor in Communications upon satisfactorily completing the following requirements:

The following courses are required:

ENGL 116 - Introduction to Mass Communications Credits: 4
ENGL 206 - Introduction to Media Production Credits: 4
ENGL 215 - News Media Writing Credits: 4
ENGL 304 - Digital Video Production Credits: 4
OR
ENGL 308 - Interactive Media Production Credits: 4
ENGL 315 - Media Writing: Topics Credits: 4
OR
ENGL 363 - Advanced Composition Credits: 4
ENGL 416 - Media Theory and Criticism Credits: 4

Two to four credits from the following courses:

ENGL 250 - Practicum: Indy/Indy Online Credits: 1-6

OR
