A minor in history is designed to complement any major. This minor may be an important basis for students planning for law school, graduate studies, or employment.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN HISTORY:
This minor requires six courses (from at least two different instructors) for a minimum of 21 credits. At least 9 credits must be numbered 300 or above. |
- Topics in World/U.S./European/Asian/African/Latin American History and appropriate History 190/390 courses may be used to fulfill these requirements.

No more than one course from the major department will count toward any minor. A student majoring in any discipline other than History may complete a minor in History upon satisfactorily completing the following requirements:
- 12 credits lower division HISTORY courses
- 9-12 credits upper division HISTORY courses
TOTAL REQUIRED FOR MINOR - CREDITS: 21-24
