REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN AGROECOLOGY/SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE:

No more than one course from a student’s major may count in any minor. A student majoring in any discipline other than Agriculture or Agricultural Business may complete a minor in Agroecology/Sustainable Agriculture upon satisfactorily completing the following requirements:

AG 101 - Introductory Animal Science Credits: 4
AG 102 - Principles of Crop Production Credits: 3
AG 180 - Sustainable Agriculture Credits: 3

One of the following:

BIO 250 - Ecology of the Southwest Credits: 4
BIO 320 - Fundamentals of Ecology Credits: 4

One of the following:

AG 299 - Individual Study Credits: 1-6
(must complete 3 credits)
AG 370 - Internship in Ag Credits: 3
AG 499 - Independent Study Credits: 1-6
(must complete 3 credits)
BIO 299 - Individual Study Credits: 1-6
(must complete 3 credits)
BIO 480 - Internship in Biology Credits: 1-3
(must complete 3 credits)
BIO 499 - Independent Study Credits: 1-6
(must complete 3 credits)
SOC 320 - Community Service Practicum Credits: 1-16
(only 3 credits for minor)
