REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN LITERATURE:

No more than one course from a student’s major may count in any minor. A student majoring in any discipline other than English may complete a minor in Literature upon satisfactorily completing the following requirements:

The following three courses are required:

ENGL 230 - Survey of British Literature Credits: 4
ENGL 240 - Survey of American Lit Credits: 4
ENGL 432 - Shakespeare Credits: 4

Plus, two upper-division literature courses selected from the following:

ENGL 340 - 19th Cen British Lit: Topics Credits: 4
ENGL 341 - Early Modern Literature:Topics Credits: 4
ENGL 345 - American Literature:Topics I Credits: 4
ENGL 346 - American Literature: Topics II Credits: 4
ENGL 380 - Native American Literature:Topics Credits: 4
ENGL 423 - Genres: Topics Credits: 4
ENGL 424 - Comparative Literature: Topics Credits: 4
ENGL 430 - Medieval Lit & Chaucer: Topics Credits: 4
