Accounting Minor

REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN ACCOUNTING:

A student majoring in any discipline other than Accounting may complete a minor in Accounting upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core and elective requirements. At least twelve (12) credits must be discrete from any other major, minor, or undergraduate certificate.

ACC 225 - Introduction to Financial Accounting Credits: 3
ACC 226 - Introduction to Managerial Accounting Credits: 3

Minor Electives:

Complete four (4) courses from the following list:

ACC 333 - Financial Reporting 1 Credits: 3
ACC 334 - Financial Reporting 2 Credits: 3 ^f
ACC 335 - Accounting Information Systems Credits: 3
ACC 370 - Topics in Accounting Credits: 3
ACC 426 - Advanced Accounting Credits: 3 ^f
ACC 436 - Auditing - Theory and Practice Credits: 3 ^f
ACC 440 - Taxation 1 Credits: 3 ^f
ACC 441 - Taxation 2 Credits: 3 ^f

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR MINOR - CREDITS: 18
