Ski Resort Operations Certificate

REQUIREMENTS FOR A CERTIFICATE IN SKI RESORT OPERATIONS:

A student majoring in any discipline may complete a certificate in Ski Resort Operation upon satisfactory fulfilling the core and elective requirements.

Core courses

BA 131 - Introduction to Resort Management Credits: 3 ^g
BA 335 - Ski Resort Operations Credits: 3 ^g
BA 336 - Ski Resort Management Credits: 3 ^g
BA 447 - Ski Resort Internship Credits: 3 ^g
or
BA 499 - Independent Study Credits: 1-6
(must be taken for a minimum of three (3) credits to meet program requirements)

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR CERTIFICATE - CREDITS: 12

Prior to course registration, students should review all courses for prerequisites, minimum prerequisite grade requirements and minimum class standing.

^gA grade of C or better will be accepted for the certificate.

^oIf pursuing a Ski Operations Certificate you may need to seek an electronic override prior to registration from Skyhawk Station, advising, or the instructor.

Note: At least 50% of the coursework toward the certificate must be earned at Fort Lewis College.
