REQUIREMENT FOR A CERTIFICATE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

A student majoring in any discipline may complete a Human Resource Management Certificate upon satisfactory fulfilling the requirements below.

Note: A grade of C or better is required in all courses required for the certificate.

Required courses (9 credits):

BA 226 - Human Resource Management Credits: 3
BA 319 - Organizational Behavior Credits: 3
BA 326 - Strategic Human Resource Management Credits: 3

Certificate Electives - Complete 3 credits:

BA 203 - Business in Global Society [LAC-SS] Credits: 3
BA 260 - Business Law and Ethics Credits: 3
BA 300 - Management Principles Credits: 3
BA 303 - Principles of International Business Credits: 3
BA 320 - Leadership Theory and Practice Credits: 3
BA 362 - Cross-Cultural Management Credits: 3

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR CERTIFICATE - CREDITS: 12

Prior to course registration, students should review all courses for prerequisites, minimum prerequisite grade requirements and minimum class standing.

Note: At least 50% of the coursework toward the certificate must be earned at Fort Lewis College.
