Honors Concentration

REQUIREMENTS FOR A CONCENTRATION IN HONORS:

A student majoring in any discipline may complete a concentration in Honors upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core requirements.

Required Courses (10 credits):

HON 100 - First-Year Launch: Introduction to Honors Credits: 1
HON 200 - Contemporary Issues Topics Credits: 3
HON 210 - Landscapes of Learning [LAC-AH] Credits: 3
HON 300 - Honors Topics Credits: 3

Honors Electives - Complete 2 courses for a minimum of 6 credits:

HON 300 - Honors Topics Credits: 3
HON 360 - Honors Leadership Practicum Credits: 1-3
HON 361 - Honors Internship Credits: 1-6
HON 495 - Honors Project Credits: 3

Other Requirements:

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
Honors minor GPA of 3.0 or higher required.

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR CONCENTRATION - CREDITS: 16

Note: The Honors Concentration is only available to students who have been admitted to the Honors Program.
