GEOL 105 - Earth and the Environment An introduction to the application of geologic information related to the entire spectrum of interaction between humankind and our physical environment. Subject matter will be relevant to all liberal arts and traditional science students. Topics will include: basic geology principles, rocks, minerals, soils; water supply, management and abuse; global changes; land use; and natural hazards.
