HIST 150 - World Civilization I This course traces the rise of civilizations throughout the world, until the beginning of the 16th century (1500 C.E.). It delves into the life and thoughts of ancient peoples from the civilizations of the Near East, Greece, Rome, India, Africa, America, and Asia. The course is inherently multicultural and global, emphasizing the major stages in the interactions among different societies.
