PHIL 389 - 19th and 20th Century Philosophy In this course students will examine the major movements in the 19th and 20th centuries European and American philosophy. The course will include a study of Hegel, Marx, Nietzsche and Kierkegaard from the 19th century. From the 20th century, students will focus on developments in the analytic and continental traditions.
