SOC 100 - Introduction to Sociology This introductory course seeks to examine the extent to which the crisis of institutions creates personal problems in our everyday lives. Conversely, it will explore the degree to which our personal troubles foster institutional contradictions. The field of Sociology explores such topics as stratification, institutions, work and authority, criminology, the environment and health and welfare delivery systems.
