ART 250 - Ceramics

This course is an intensive introduction to the technical skills and knowledge of ceramic materials and processes including building, throwing, surfacing, and firing. Students will investigate the tools, techniques, materials, terminology, and ideas of both historic and contemporary ceramics. Integrated hand and wheel projects, large scale, and a variety of firing processes will be explored.
