HIST 160 - Survey of Western Civilization I Examines the origins of the institutions and beliefs of Western civilization from the earliest civilizations in Mesopotamia and Egypt, tracing the development of these beliefs and institutions through Greece and Rome and their preservation and enhancement in the early medieval period of European history.
