NAIS 123 - Native American History This course introduces students to an overview of Native American history through major themes which include impact and responses to European conquest and colonization, removal and dispossession from traditional lands, treaty-making and federal Indian policy, termination and relocation, and the Red Power movement. U.S. imperialism is also explored through the inclusion of Kanaka Maoli and Alaska Natives histories.
