PSYC 454 - Adolescent Psychology Adolescence is a unique developmental time as children transition to adulthood. In this course, we focus on development from early adolescence to adulthood with an emphasis on current theory and research. We will cover many aspects of adolescence and emerging adulthood, including biological, cognitive, and social changes; family, peer and school influences; and both normative and problematic psychosocial development.
