BA 383 - Risk Management

An exploration of how Microsoft Excel spreadsheets can be used in risk analysis covering topics including, but not limited to, resource allocation, data analysis, dashboard design, sensitivity analysis, and simulation. Exercises and extended case studies are utilized to build and interpret risk models and employ results. Areas of spreadsheet modeling will include a variety of disciplines. Student understanding of basic probability, statistics, and spreadsheets is assumed.
