ES 356 - Adapted Aquatics An overview of the benefits of movement in an aquatic environment, the properties of water, the dynamics of moving in water, as well as aquatic skills, therapy, fitness and games for special populations. Students will gain practical experience in teaching individuals with varying levels of abilities. They will also assess needs, prescribe, design and instruct in an aquatic program to meet the needs of persons with disabilities.
