MT 101 - Musical Theatre I: Intro to Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre I is an introduction to the dramaturgical aspect of musical theatre: text analysis, exploration of music, lyric and libretto, and a foundational acting approach to performing the song. Emphasis is placed on the actor/singer’s interpretation based on the information provided by the composer, lyricist, and librettist.
