BIO 434 - Molecular Ecology


Molecular biology and population genetics have revolutionized how we understand fundamental processes in ecology and evolution.  This course surveys techniques and theoretical background underpinning the field of molecular ecology with specific focus in areas including local adaptation, organismal dispersal across landscapes, phylogeography, behavioral ecology, and conservation biology.

Credits: 4

Prerequisites: BIO 245  (minimum grade of C-) and BIO 260  (minimum grade of C-)
