GEOG 325 - Introduction to Remote Sensing Remote sensing is the art and science of deriving useful information about the Earth’s land, water, and atmosphere, and the human impacts thereupon, using data captured from an airborne or spaceborne sensor. The lecture is focused on the fundamental concepts underlying the interdisciplinary study of Earth from above. The lab revolves around digital geospatial analysis of aerial and satellite data.
