PSYC 303 - Adaptive Value of Stories

The purpose of this class is to examine the content of stories from a developmental/biopsychosocial perspective. We will examine how narratives across human cultures and time periods have conveyed valuable information across generations; an adaptation of great importance to human reproductive success and life span satisfaction. The course will consider the ways in which content of those stories and the kinds of stories themselves help in human development.
