NAIS 124 - Indigenous Latin American History


Analyzing sources as diverse as art, film, and written texts, this course introduces students to topics in Indigenous history from Mexico to the Southern Cone. While we will touch on responses to colonial encounter, our focus will be on modern and contemporary Latin American history, particularly examples of Indigenous political action and social movements across the region.
