REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN GEOLOGY:

No more than one course from the major department will count toward any minor. A student majoring in any discipline other than Geology may complete a minor in Geology upon satisfactorily completing the following requirements:

GEOL 105 - Earth and the Environment Credits: 4
OR
GEOL 107 - Earth Systems Science Credits: 4
OR
GEOL 113 - Physical Geology Credits: 4
GEOL 114 - Historical Geology Credits: 4
GEOL 207 - Mineralogy Credits: 4
GEOL 210 - Petrology Credits: 4
Upper division GEOLOGY electives Credits: 10

TOTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MINOR - CREDITS: 26

Note: GEOL 207 must be completed with a grade of C- or better.
