Specific Departmental Requirements:


General Track (the core): 

  •  Primary Concentration (includes Senior Seminar)  Credits: 28
  • 16 credits in Primary Concentration must be upper division.
  • Two Secondary Concentrations  Credits: 24
  • 12 credits in each secondary concentration. A total of 12 of the 24 credits must be upper division.

Auxiliary Core Requirements:


  • Two semesters of one college-level modern language Credits: 8

Areas of Concentration:


The Area of Concentration section below lists the subject areas that you can use for primary and/or secondary concentrations.

Art:


Two art history courses and two studio courses are required for a Primary Concentration.

Economics:


History:


All courses in the Department of History may be used.

Modern Language:


In addition to all Modern Languages courses, ED 333 a is allowed. Spanish and French allowed as primary concentration. Spanish, French, or Navajo allowed as secondary concentration. Students may only declare one concentration in any Modern Language. Students with a primary concentration in Spanish may complete ML 431 a or ML 496 a to satisfy the Senior Seminar requirement.

No more than a combined total of six credits in psychology from off-campus coursework or Innovative Month or Independent Study (PSYC 299 /PSYC 499 ) may be counted toward a primary or secondary concentration.

Theatre:


All courses in the Department of Theatre may be used.
