REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN BIOLOGY:
A student majoring in any discipline other than Biology may complete a minor in Biology upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core and elective requirements. At least twelve (12) credits must be discrete from any other major, minor, or undergraduate certificate.
Minor Electives:
Complete the Cellular and Molecular or the Ecology/Organismal Biology Electives.

e For students minoring, the Biology Department has made BIO 260 (minimum grade of C-) and the completion of the additional 200-level course (BIO 245 [minimum grade of C-] or BIO 208 [minimum grade of C-] or BIO 270 [minimum grade of C-]) the only prerequisites for the upper-division courses listed above. Student must ask instructor of record for an electronic override.
q For students minoring, the Biology Department has made BIO 106 (minimum grade of C-) and BIO 113 (minimum grade of C-) and CHEM 150 (minimum grade of C-) the only prerequisites for BIO 260 and BIO 270 . Student must ask instructor of record for an electronic override.
