Mathematics Minor

REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN MATHEMATICS:

A student majoring in any discipline other than Mathematics may complete a minor in Mathematics upon satisfactory fulfilling the core and elective requirements. At least twelve (12) credits^d must be discrete from any other major, minor, or undergraduate certificate:

Core Courses:

MATH 121 - Pre-Calculus Credits: 4
MATH 221 - Calculus I Credits: 4
MATH 222 - Calculus II Credits: 4 ^a
MATH 223 - Calculus III Credits: 4 ^a
Three (3) additional MATH courses at or above the 300-level (except MATH 318)

TOTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MINOR - CREDITS: 25

^dMinor policy requiring 12 discrete credits does not apply to Engineering Majors.
