Honors Concentration

REQUIREMENTS FOR A CONCENTRATION IN HONORS:

A student majoring in any discipline may complete a concentration in Honors upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core requirements.

Core Courses:

HON 200 - Contemporary Issues Topics Credits: 3

Electives:

LAC Courses with Honors Attribute:

Complete a minimum of two (2) Liberal Arts Courses (LAC) with Honors attribute.

Honors Topics:

Complete a minimum of three (3) Honors Topics courses.Topics must be different.

HON 300 - Honors Topics Credits: 3

Other Requirements:

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
Honors minor GPA of 3.0 or higher required.

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR MINOR - Credits: 18

Note: The Honor Concentration is only available to students who have been admitted to the Honors Program.

Note: Students who have already completed LAC requirements can meet the Honors Concentration requirements by taking additional sections HON 200 and HON 300 .
