Engineering Minor

REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN ENGINEERING:

A student majoring in any discipline other than Engineering may complete a minor in Engineering upon satisfactorily fulfilling the core and elective requirements. At least twelve (12) credits must be discrete from any other major or minor.

Core Courses:

ENGR 103 - Fundamentals of Engineering Graphics Credits: 3 ^g
ENGR 104 - Fundamentals of Engineering Computing Credits: 3 ^g
ENGR 215 - Fundamentals of Engineering Design Credits: 3 ^g
ENGR 217 - Statics Credits: 3 ^g

Minor Electives:

Complete three (3) additional Engineering (ENGR) courses at the 200, 300, or 400 level.^g

Auxiliary Courses:

MATH 121 - Pre-Calculus Credits: 4 ^g
MATH 221 - Calculus I Credits: 4 ^g
MATH 222 - Calculus II Credits: 4 ^g
PHYS 217 - Physics - Science and Engineering I Credits: 4 ^g

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR ENGINEERING MINOR - CREDITS: 37

^g A grade of C- or better will be accepted for the major.

Note: Students majoring in Computer Engineering Major may minor in Engineering. You will need to work with department for approval and develop a course sequence of courses that will count in minor.
