Regenerative Food Systems Certificate


REQUIREMENTS FOR A CERTIFICATE IN REGENERATIVE FOOD SYSTEMS:


A student majoring in any discipline may complete a certificate in Regenerative Food Systems Certificate upon satisfactory fulfilling the core and elective requirements.

Note: A grade of C or better is required in all courses required for the certificate.

Complete 1 course from the following:


[Foundational Core]

Complete 1 course for at least 3 credits from the following:


[Practical Skills Course]

Complete an additional 12 credits from the following courses:


Note: Courses that have been used to satisfy other certificate requirements cannot also be used in this category.

Additional Program Notes


ENV 410 and SOC 320 must be focused on Regenerative Food Systems, as determined by the Certificate Coordinator, to count towards the certificate requirements. Students should contact the Certificate Coordinator prior to enrolling in ENV 410 or SOC 320.

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR CERTIFICATE - CREDITS: 18


Prior to course registration, students should review all courses for prerequisites, minimum prerequisite grade requirements and minimum class standing.

Note: At least 50% of the coursework toward the certificate must be earned at Fort Lewis College.
