BIO 470 - Wildlife Management This course examines topics in wildlife ecology. We will utilize techniques used to inventory populations, assess habitat, and estimate population structure. We will discuss current and past conservation practices, including policy, habitat manipulation, translocation, population viability assessments and review current wildlife issues, including disease and the urban-wildlife interface. The course will foster interaction between students and practicing wildlife biologists.
