EGC 336 - Resources and the Environment


This course explores the geologic origins and environmental impacts of natural resource exploitation around the world and throughout history.  Major topics include population growth, water resources, soil and fertilizer, metals and minerals, and renewable and nonrenewable energy resources, with emphasis placed upon societal and personal responses for a sustainable future.
