CHEM 150 - Fundamentals of Chemistry I: Atoms/Molecules A study of the fundamental principles guiding current thought on atoms and molecules and their relation both to the micro and macro scale world in which we live. This includes the traditional uses of mass, energy, and intermolecular forces to model our current understanding of diverse topics, including materials and environmental concerns. The laboratory emphasizes the properties of materials and chemicals in the environment.

Notes: All specified math prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better. MATH 110 OR MATH 113 may be taken concurrently with Chem 150.
