MATH 215 - Mathematics for Elementary School Teacher I This course is designed primarily for the elementary school teacher. It includes a study of sets, set operations, construction of numeration systems, whole and integer and rational number arithmetic, ratio and proportion, decimals, percent, selected topics in geometry, the metric system, and an introduction to the real number system.

Prerequisites: TRS 92 (minimum grade of C-) OR MATH 110 (minimum grade of C-) OR Computed Math Placement Score MA110
Notes: The prerequisite for MATH 121 is a B- or better in MATH 110 or placement. All specified prerequisites for all other math courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better.
