BIO 208 - Molecular Microbiology This course will examine the key paradigms of prokaryotic molecular cell biology, such as mechanisms of gene expression, regulation of gene expression and the relationship between molecular structure and function. The laboratory will reinforce students’ understanding by using molecular techniques to answer questions in cell/molecular biology. This course is designed to meet the needs of many prehealth students, who would like to apply to nursing or medical school.

Clock Hours - (Lect-Lab): (3-3)
Prerequisites: ((BIO 106 (minimum grade of C-) OR ENV 110 (minimum grade of C-)) AND BIO 113 (minimum grade of C-) AND CHEM 150 (minimum grade of C-)
Notes: BIO 208 and HS 208 are equivalent. Students who take HS 208 will not receive credit toward graduation for BIO 208.
