PHIL 379 - Enlightenment Philosophy This is the second in a three course sequence in the history of philosophy covering the period of 1600-1800 CE. The bulk of the course is spent in a careful reading and discussion of primary sources from the major thinkers of the Enlightenment like Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz, Voltaire, Locke, Hume, Reid, Berkeley, Rousseau, and Kant.
