CHEM 311 - General Biochemistry I This course covers the basic principles of biochemistry. Emphasis is on the structure and function of common building block molecules, proteins, nucleic acids, polysaccharides and membranes, and the regulation and metabolic processes occurring within living organisms.

Prerequisites: CHEM 251 or concurrent enrollment in CHEM 251
